Champions League Round of 16 – Arsenal v Bayern Munich

UEFA have announced the round of 16 draw for the Champions League 2013-14. Premier league leaders Arsenal to take on German champions Bayern Munich in the first leg of this tournament.

It will be tough fight for the Gunners to beat the defending champions, Bayern Munich, as The Bavarians have the likes of star players – Frank Ribery, Dante, Manuel Neuer and Arjen Robben.

The Gunners are currently sits in top of the league and have the likes of Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey.

The first leg of Champions League Round of 16 between Arsenal and Bayern Munich to be played on Wednesday 19th February 2014, 19:45 UK Time at Emirates Stadium and the second leg to be played on Tuesday 11th March 2014, 19:45 UK Time at Allianz Arena.

Still, I believe Arsene wenger’s side will give the tough competition to the German champions Bayern Munich. There is an advantage for the Gunners to play in front of 60k at their home ground, the Emirates. It will be a crucial match for both sides as fans will build-up a good atmosphere.

The forward star, Theo Walcott is the key player for the Gunners and could be proved as the opening goal scorer of the match He can cause trouble for the Germans with his pace.

The Germany international Mesut Ozil will be the main man for Arsenal. The 25-year-old midfielder is one of the shining stars in the Wenger’s army so he will need to prove himself as one of the important player for his side.
